H.S.I. Steering cable conversion bracket for the 4SJ Yamaha SuperJet 2021+
This relocates the steering cable mount allowing you to run a backdated steering cable that has more "throw". The adapter bracket allows you to run a 1990-1995 Yamaha SJ steering cable. With doing so, you can then efficiently run a quicker steering system whether it be a standard style or OVP system without breaking the factory 4SJ steer cable.
Improves the slow turning of the 4-stroke Yamaha Superjet. The additional cable movement "throw", allows the steering nozzle to turn further. Pairing this with an aftermarket steering system will also then allow a faster, more responsive steering.
Included with adapter / converson bracket:
- OEM Yamaha hull connector seal
- OEM Yamaha hull connector stopper
*Please note that you will need to purchase at least 1 M5 steering cable end as the 21+ SJ has 1 M6 and 1 M5 end factory.
