The Impros Hooker 148mm impeller for the 4-stroke Kawasaki 15F models such as the SXR 1500. The impeller is 148mm outer diameter, offered in OEM 75mm hub or aftermarket 83mm hubsize. Ditch you stock impeller that creates so much cavitation. You'll be amazed at the performance gain with this impeller upgrade.
Includes rubber nose seal. Highly recommend adding an impeller tool (WR001) as well, for ease of installation.
The pitches available are 12/17, 12/18, 12/19, 13/17, 13/18 and 13/19. This is the best impeller if you want to maximize the bottom end and rough water hook up of your JetSki.. The root angle, blade length and other geometric differences set impros apart from the others. The 13/17 pitch 75mm hub is suggested for *stock class engines* and is what we keep stocked on the shelf. All other pitches are NOT a stocked part, 2-3 DAY arrival to HSI once you order - If you need a custom pitch for your application, we can special order it - depending on time of year ETA will be 2-4 weeks.
The hooker impeller is a 3-blade large hub diameter, radial edge design stainless steel impeller that hooks up and produces excellent performance in all ranges of the powerband. Material is a 17-4 stainless steel cast with recreation polish. Will fit into many aftermarket pumps like Solas, Freedom, etc,
Description of LEADING vs TRAILING edge pitch: The leading edge is the blade that is first in contact with the water entering the pump tunnel before it gets pushed through the pump. This is your right-off-throttle "bottom end" hit. The trailing edge is what will carry you through the power band and allow the engine to get the full amount of power to the water. People often don't realize it, but impeller tuning is the ultimate way to get power to the water.
