If an order is canceled before the items have been shipped, we will refund the full payment LESS the 3-5% credit card fee depending on what payment method you used. 

Special order parts are NOT returnable unless otherwise negotiated by H.S.I. ahead of time. Listed items on the website may still be S/O, this will be noted as special order in the description. 

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date of your order delivering to request a return. Returns on stocked items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, uninstalled or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Again, returns on items are subject to a 20% RESTOCKING FEE.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. We will deduct the return shipping price from your refund amount. If you would like, you can provide the return shipping label.

*Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable items
Certain types of items CANNOT be returned, like special order items (items that we do not stock regularly and have to be ordered in), or on open electrical parts. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or batteries. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. If instruction or warranty is needed, please reach out to the company that manufactures the part.

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to contact us. We will submit a return for the item you have, ask you to send it back, and once the return is received, we will issue you the new part - if there is a difference in the dollar amount we will require the additional payment before shipping the new exchanged item. The other way to proceed with this so that you do not have to wait for the returned item to be received by the shop before we send the new item, is to make a separate purchase for the new item yourself, and then send your return item back once approved.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, uninstalled or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
